VSR 400 is a color and reflectance measuring instrument with non-contact microscopic measuring method for such a small sample as Φ0.05mm at minimum. A large sample stage has been adopted at its optical unit, and adjustment of measuring position and focusing can be easily done by the CCD camera and liquid-crystal display included in the system. This model will be an optimum choice for color and reflectance measurements of paint flakes, printed matter, fabrics, dental material, botanical specimens, liquid crystal material, etc. as well as for gloss evaluation of plated electronic components like lead frames, etc.

A measuring spot is magnified by the built-in microscope and minimum area up to Φ0.05mm can be measured.

Color and reflectance can be measured in non-contact mode.

Two-way 45° illumination method has been applied, so positioning and focusing can be easily done along with 2 sharp light axes. (There is an option for 45° and -45° regular reflectance measurement conforming to gloss evaluation.)

A large sample stage of 200mm x 150mm is equipped at the optical unit, by which even a large size sample can be measured.

Adjustment of measuring position and focusing can be easily done by CCD camera and liquid-crystal display.

Using color management software (option), analysis by measurement data and various color graphs is possible on the display of your personal computer.
